Direct Cremation is the disposition of the body by cremation without the added cost of embalming, formal viewing or ceremony. Our Package Includes - Basic services of our funeral director & staff - removal of the body - use of a positive ID system - transportation to one of our licensed refrigerated holding and crematory facilities - IN-HOME CONSULTATION WITH THE FAMILY to discuss wishes and sign required documents - filing of the county death certificate - alternative all cardboard or plywood & cardboard cremation container - pacemaker removal (when applicable) - the cremation process - durable brown plastic urn - delivery of the cremated remains back to the family - all taxes - standard fees and permits.

Allied Cremation can arrange for the dignified scattering of cremated remains in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, in the San Francisco Bay, near the Golden Gate Bridge or on Private Mountain Land near Yosemite National Park. We can provide scattering services to all families no matter where or when the cremation took place. You may select a private boat charter for up to 30 family members and guests or arrange for a non-attended scattering to be performed on land or at sea by our staff. We do not use third parties for this service. Our charter scatterings are aboard a 53 foot sight-seeing boat docked at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, CA. For added privacy and dignity, families nerver share a charter with anyone else, as they do with most cremation societies.
