The Adolescent Drug Awareness Program (A.D.A.P.), a new moderate-intensity program utilizing a psycho-educational group-based approach to substance abuse education and awareness for at risk teens and their families. As you look around your community, you will find that there are programs specifically for adult men and women, but not for teens in the age group of 14 - 18 years. A.D.A.P. contains specific educational and supportive services for today's teens and their families to not only meet that need but help each participant to achieve and maintain a drug and alcohol free life style. Below are highlights of the Program: * An Educational Series for Developing Teens & Families * Appropriate for Ages 14 thru 18 8 Based on a 12 Week Continuum * 90 Minute Group Sessions * Teens Participate in 2 Group Sessions Each Week * Provides for a Supporting Network
