3rd Gen is the highest rated local Painting and Remodeling Contractor in Western Springs and its surrounding suburbs. 3rd Gen specializes in house painting, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and custom deck building. 3rd Gen's owners, Matt Schmidt & Andre Kazimierski, are passionate about helping homeowners create their dream home without the stress of a typical remodel. Andre and Matt come from strong family values and a reputation for integrity and hard work. Matt's grandfather built his own construction company from the ground up in Westmont, IL while Andre's mother, Sophia, built her own home cleaning company out of Riverside, IL as a Polish immigrant & flipped houses. They first met while in college working as managers for a construction company. After a few years as Co-VPs at the company, they both went off on their own to open separate businesses. They are both very driven entrepreneurs so when Matt decided to move back to the Midwest, he reconnected with Andre to see if he would like to start up a new construction company. Andre and Matt are experts in not only all things painting & remodeling but experts in the intangibles of running a business with integrity.
