What a GREAT company. My AC went out on a Sunday afternoon and the OWNER personally came out to try to fix it. He then got the part and brought a crew to change it out on the day a hurricane hit our area. Instant cool air. WOW what else can I say. This is true customer service. My wife was sick at the time and going without cooling for hours was a problem, nevermind days. Mr. Bruce Hering answered the phone himself at 7:00pm and advised me that he was just finishing a repair near my home and would respond to me within 30 minutes, and if there was a problem with a part he didn't have in stock, he would hook up a portable unit to keep us comfortable until the repair could be completed. Mr. Hering is a very competent man and also holds a State of Florida Contractors License, and is up to date on all local and state codes. The repair was completed within an hour and the fee was more than reasonable.

1st Choice Cooling and Heating helped me with a serious warranty issue. The A/C unit in my new house went out. The builder would not respond, the contractor that installed the unit originally had gone out of business. 1st Choice Cooling and Heating was recommended to me so I called them. Bruce, Gail and Devon were wonderful to deal with. They fought for me when the manufacturer would not return calls or emails. They were persistent and got them to honor the warranty and replace my unit. Bruce and Devon did a great job with the install, I never went without A/C because they put window units in while the system was down. Everything they did was above and beyond anything most companies would do. I highly recommend 1st Choice Cooling and Heating. They're the best!

1st Choice Cooling & Heating is fantastic! I bought a new home and the A/C went out just before the 5 year warranty. The builder did not respond, the contractor that put the A/C unit in went out of business. I called 1st Choice because they were recommended to me. Bruce and Gail and Devon were very helpful. They hounded the manufacturer and went well above and beyond what most companies would do. The manufacturer would not respond to my phone calls or emails but Bruce and Gail were persistent and they got the manufacturer to replace the unit. Most companies would have just given up and left us with the mess to deal with but Bruce and Gail fought for me and got my unit under warranty. I couldn't be happier. These are folks who care about quality and have a hometown spirit, wonderful work ethics and very personable. I highly recommend them.

I requested quotes from 6 local contractors to replace my 20 year old A/C unit. Bruce at 1st Choice was recommended to me by two of my neighbors whom he had done work on their homes. They were completely satisfied with his work so I called Bruce. His quote was the lowest bid. I was surprised at the quality of work he does. He replaced all the duct work and even put in a deck up in the attic where the air handler is. I am using it for storage now. The unit works flawlessly and it is saving me from $40-$60 a month on my electricity bill and the unit has a life time warranty. Bruce does amazing work and I have confidently recommended him to other friends and neighbors. Now if only I could find a plumber as good as Bruce is with A/C I would have it made.
