Build in 1960, Westmeade Elementary School serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade four. It offers classes in English, math, language science, social studies, art, music and physical education. The school administers special education programs for children with disabilities. Westmeade Elementary School operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors various fund raising events. It also maintains a library and media room that features a collection of books and periodicals. The school organizes field trips to educational and cultural locations. Westmeade Elementary School maintains a Boy Scout team. The school offers transportation, health, counseling and food services, as well as maintains a book store.
