- GynecologyWe encourage your comments on Tristar Gynecology Oncology's various blogs, and hope you will join the discussions. We can't respond to every comment, particularly those that deal with individual medical cases and issues. We review comments before they're posted, and those that are off-topic or clearly promoting a commercial product generally won't make the cut. We also expect a basic level of civility; disagreements are fine, but mutual respect is a must, and profanity or abusive language are out-of-bounds.

- RadiologyWhen you get services from an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, certain providers there may be out-of-network. In these cases, the most those providers can bill you is your plan's in-network cost-sharing amount. This applies to emergency medicine, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, laboratory, neonatology, assistant surgeon, hospitalist, or intensivist services. These providers can't balance bill you and may not ask you to give up your protections not to be balance billed.

Williams, a gynecologic oncologist at Baptist Hospital and Gynecologic Oncology of Middle Tennessee, scheduled her for surgery the next month to remove her lymph nodes, ovaries, and uterus. “I got to come home the next day,” Perkins said. “I was blessed.” Because she qualified for robotic surgery, which is far less invasive than a traditional operation, she stayed in the hospital a single night and resumed most normal activity within two weeks.
