About Boson Software, LLC Founded in 1999, Boson Software, LLC is a privately held company that specializes in providing robust learning solutions, including examination preparation materials used by individuals, businesses, academic institutions and government entities around the world. Our flagship product, Boson NetSim, is network simulation software that allows users to create and test their own networks with up to 200 devices. Boson's virtual packet technology creates individual packets that route and switch through the simulated network, allowing NetSim to build virtual routing tables and simulate true networking. This technology allows many users of the Boson NetSim to go far beyond the scope of the examples in the included labs. Boson offers two certification-focused products, NetSim for CCNA and NetSim for CCNP. Each supports the technologies and skills needed for the respective certification. No other router simulator offers this much versatility and support. Boson NetSim also includes a comprehensive lab menu that contains lessons and labs covering routing protocols, Cisco devices, switching, topological design, and much more.
