I must say, Grandmaster LaMattina has been a fantastic influence on my 5 year old. My son is learning the important lessons of discipline, self control, and respect (for himself and others). Among these lessons, Grandmaster LaMattina teaches the importance of safety (being aware of your surroundings, strangers) and how to deal with bullies. He always stresses fighting only as a last resort. His staff is just as wonderful with the kids. They are patient and understanding. I was so impressed with the program there and how well my son is treated and his progress, I joined the program as well. I hope this review has been helpful.

This place is a joke! They had us sign a constract promising that we could cancel and when our 4 year old cried he didn't want to go back they told us there was a thirty day cancellation policy and that we had to pay more. There is no honest in the honest they preach.

If you value money, then you do not want to take your child here. The "Grandmaster" lied to my husband and I from the beginning. He told us that he'll be working with the younger kids (3-5) personally because he knows how to handle them and all of this. He only worked with them a few times and then let a green belt girl teach the class, in which she doens't have as much patience with the kids. The "Grandmaster" did nothing but sit in his office and do a little bit of paper work and then have pointless conversations with people. Another thing, for children they're only getting about 6 hours a month, and you're paying about $132 a month. That's not right. If you want your child to learn proper self defense with actual tradition behind it (i.e. ju jitsu, go ju ryu, etc..) then you'll get your money's worth. they'll learn alot more and only costs between $60-70 a month. SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE
