Ray Bowie is a Naples area real estate attorney, consultant and instructor, and the principal of his own law firm, The Real Estate Law Offices of Raymond J. Bowie. Mr. Bowie is also the principal of Ray Bowie Closing & Title Services, providing comprehensive transaction management and title services for real estate buyer-including legal counsel, property inspections, association document review, mortgage financing and closings. He is one of the Naples area attorneys who drafted the real estate contracts, property inspection forms and mortgage financing forms used in Collier County, Florida property transactions. He is also licensed by the State of Florida as a real estate instructor and has taught contract law, property inspections and community association law to local real estate professionals. Mr. Bowie has practiced law for 25 years in Florida, Virginia and New York, having received a Juris Doctor law degree, Ph.D. in Real Property Studies, and Master's degree in Business Management. His law practice focusing on real estate transactions, closings and title insurance, representation of buyers, sellers, real estate brokers and building contractors, and business formation and business transactions. He is also appointed by the Florida Department of State to serve as an International (Civil-Law) Notary, comparable to the notario, notar and notaire in civil-law countries. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Bowie was a practicing real estate broker who owned and managed his own real estate brokerage, mortgage and title companies. As a Realtor, he earned the professional designations CRB, CRS, CIPS and GRI. He remains licensed in Florida as a real estate broker, mortgage broker, community association manager and real estate school instructor. He regularly teaches seminars through the Naples Area Board of Realtors and authors a real estate law column appearing Sundays in the Naples Daily News.
