Eldex Laboratories Inc. manufactures instruments for analytical chemistry laboratories and chemical process control. Based in Napa, Calif., the company offers a variety of products, such as MicroPro pumps, column heaters, fraction collectors, PicoTag parts/accessories and hydrolysis/derivatization workstation. In addition, the firm develops and manufactures custom instruments, such as variations on metering pumps, fluid delivery instruments for the semiconductor industry and sample preparation tools. In 1978, Eldex Laboratories Inc. introduced a line of high-pressure metering pumps, which find applications in post-column reaction systems, reactant feed and pilot plant development.
