repair service is beyond terrible better to save your money and buy another appliance or choose another repair company because Sears is TERRIBLE

My wife and I have been customers of Sears for the past 30 years. During that time we have used their products and services with no complaints. All of that recently changed when we called for service on our refrigerator ice maker (fridge was originally purchased 2004 from Sears in Nanuet, NY). It had not been working for the past year. But, being the fridge was still in working order we took the chance and called them. BIG MISTAKE!!! Three visits, three different techs, three different parts (one part was wrong and had to be sent back) and over $600 later still no ice! And each tech blames the other tech for doing a bad job. On top of that I am told NO REFUND for money that was already spent. The only thing they can do is send out another tech (so he can say I need another part so I can spend more money ?). Moral of this story boys and girls, Sears services and products and not what it used to be. Spend your money somewhere else.

The most frustrating experience t to get compensation thru Sears Appliance insurance for a dryer that went on fire. Was told that a 22 year old PERFECTLY WORKING dryer I had, wasn't properly maintained though the years. I was denied replacement. I had paid insurance for decades for service & replacement if they couldn't repair it. After 3 days & many calls to call centers & continued parroted denial of my claim a supervisor gave 50% replacement cost of my dryer. BUYER BEWARE. They claim the dryer is covered if I had regular maintenance.?No where is that in the contract. Only that they have the right to decide replacement is an option if there has been some kind of abuse, misuse, or the owner did not maintain the unit per the owners manual. We did everything to the T. It worked perfectly for 22 years. THIS IS NOT what they claim "IF WE CAN"T REPAIR IT, WE REPLACE IT 100%. Sears has some major customer service issues to contend with. No wonder Sears business dropped double digit percent.

Arrived right on time and satisfactorily completed the repair. My dryer now works like a charm, and quieter than it did when brand new.

I was very happy with the services I received. Lazaro and Savas came to the house on scheduled time checked out the hot water heater and cleaned it. They were very friendly and professional. Very happy with the service I received.
