When you walk in as a new patient the nurses treat you like they've known you forever, Debbie was one of the sweetest and most helpful nurses there. While on vacation in Myrtle Beach, I developed a severe abscess in a wisdom tooth. Dr. Wallen saw me within two hours of the initial call. He assessed the situation, extracted the tooth, and treated my pain effectively. His office staff was courteous and helpful. The procedure went well but after 5 days I was still in alot of pain. They set up an appt for me to see him and he made me feel horrible for even coming in. I was truly in pain and he looked at me like I was a junkie trying to cop pain pills from him. I thought if you had a problem you go to the doctor and they were supposed to help you not look down upon you like you are a drug addict. No "medical professional" has ever talked to me or treated me like he did. I understand that alot of people try to trick doctors out of pain meds, but that was not my intention. My only intention was to try to relieve the pain that I was and still am feeling. I wouldn't recommend this man to anyone.
