Me and my family stayed at Sand Castle South Aug 2012. Our experience was the WORST!!!. The first room we were given was dirty so we spoke with the front desk and we were given another room. Everything was fine until we went to be later that night. My Mom woke up out of her sleep b/c she was being bitten by bugs that we found all over her mattress. We contacted the front desk (this was at 4 a.m.) and the person on duty asked us if we caught some of the bugs and he stated that he couldn't do anything. There weren't any other rooms available and the mgr wouldn't be in until 8 a.m. From 4 am - 8 am we pack or belongings, showered/dressed. At 8 we went to the front desk mgr and told her what happened. She did refund our money. We did speak to someone in house keeping that said the had a problem with bed bugs. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO A HOMELESS PERSON!!!!!!!!

So my mom complained about being bitten all over after a nights stay. she had red bumps all over her arms and neck, come to find out they had BEDBUGS.....GROSS. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !!!!!
