I will never recommend any any any any of my friends to go there.
The front office staff service is so terrible. And the billing is also horrible.
When I am pregnant at the beginning I finally chose magnolia after collecting the information online. But after my second visit I had to change another OBGNY because of the insurance. We applied to transfer the medical record. They promised they would fax the records the same day. We thought everything was done. But 8 days later. They still didn't fax. When we went to talk to them. They found all kinds of excuses and still procrastinated our time.
We finally realized that because we won't be their customer the rest period. So they won't cooperate well . This made my visit to the new doctor 2 weeks later.
Really a terrible experience.
The billing department is the worst. Refused to take my VA referral because they wanted to bill Tricare for more. Despite the fact that I explained to them my copay for the pregnancy would be more than a months salary. Greed is the best way to explain it. Also forced to prepay for a delivery or they would not see me despite the fact that I was planning to move home at 24 weeks. I have not had the money returned. Also refused to give me a copy of my records unless I paid $15 when I left. In addition I have contacted billing on several occasions to get the money they overcharged me. They have been extremely awful and mean to me when they do answer my calls. They have literally hung up on me, yelled at me and said that I was being rude, refused to return calls, wrote a nasty note in my medical chart, and are refusing to give back money for a vaginal delivery for 4-5 more months. I have been forced to file a Dispute with my credit card company. Tricare said that they never heard of an OB/gyn forcing patients to prepay delivery fees and what they are doing is wrong. This clinic is literally scamming people out of as much money as they can. Every time I call I end up in tears, yet somehow I am the rude one. If this is happening to you also please also contact the South Carolina medical board.
I wouldn't recommend Magnolia obgyn to anyone. Very bad customer service skills and honestly don't really know what they are doing. They don't take time to interact with any patience or try to find out any information. My baby almost died because of Magnolia OBGYN.

Long wait times are due to overbooking. I can tell you from experience they are spending NO time with patients. I told them the first week of March they owed me $1200 and I still have yet to receive my check. Check the BBB website for complaints. My complaint is not yet published because they won't respond.
Dr Helena Kirkpatrick of this practice performed surgery on me two weeks ago to remove a cyst and my ovary and I cannot express enough what a wonderful, caring and proficient doctor she is. At my follow up appointment, she completely explained what she had done and what she had found in terms that I could completely understand. Now and in the past she also has personally telephoned me to tell me of biopsy results. Her staff has also always treated me with concern and respect and I would highly recommend this doctor and her practice to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

I am very disappointed in this place. If I wasnt 35 weeks pregnant I would switch... everything was great in the beginning as always and gets worse every visit. I was told my first visit that throughout my pregnancy I would meet all of the doctors and at the end of my pregnancy I would be scheduled to come in once a week. I had an apt at 31 weeks and my next visit was scheduled a month out so I go back at 35 weeks and specifically ask the midwife how often I will be seen from now on and she says once a week. I go to check out ane get my next appt and the lady tells me my next visit is 2 and a half weeks away... I tell her about what the midwife said and she acts like she doesnt even acknowledge it. I am very upset... I will be 38 weeks then and could possibly even have my baby before the visit. Not to mention I have seen an actual dr maybe a total of 4 times same dr every time except once... so its very possible that a dr that ive never met will be delivering my baby. Also, they call and change my apt time or day further out ALL the time! If you chose this place then I hope you have better luck than I did

Dr. Golden and her nurse are the best there. However, the front office staff and billing have horrible customer service skills. The wait time for visits is long also at times. The wait wouldn't be so bad but they don't let you know you are going to be sitting there for an hour or longer and then go in the patient room and wait a long time there. If the customer service skills were professional, the wait wouldn't be so bad.

Why would anyone care if they have to wait awhile? It makes me feel better that these wonderful women are taking time with their patients! I'd worry if they were always on time!

These doctors are the best! Were so lucky to have them in Myrtle Beach! I was a very high risk patient. Pregnant for the first time at 46! Dr.Tracey Golden was truly my angel! While she was my main doctor...you have to see all. They were all so wonderful! I couldn't have had such a wonderful stressfree pregnancy without all of them! Although Doc Golden has my heart...and my beautiful baby girl Emmas heart forever!!!!! Best care ever!!!!

The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is due to the long wait both in the lobby and once you are in a room... but I think that goes along with an OB practice since you never know what's going to happen. I'm high risk and the front desk and doctors have been wonderful and very understanding - This is my first pregnancy.

Not very trustworthy when dealing with payments and insurance. Told me about a service and said they would check with my insurance to see what they would cover, Magnolia called me saying insurance company said all I would have to pay would be the co-pay. I guess i was the dumb one trusting my Doctors office and now the insurance company won't cover and i owe hundreds of dollars to Magnolia.Makes me question what else do I have to double check behind them. I do not recommend Magnolia OB/GYN to anybody!!
