Fritz Frye is not a doctor. He is a physicians assistant. Dr Vandergriffe isn't there anymore,

Horrible service. Called to see how to get a copy of my son's shot record and was told by receptionist to just come in and it would take a ten minutes and a signature. I had just moved three hours away, but needed the copy asap, so I drove to the office to be greeted by rude receptionists who then told me it would take three days or so for them to get a copy of the shot record. I not only wasted six hours in the car, but must do the trip again when they actually get the job done! In past experiences they do not return phone calls, and do not follow through on check ups or other questions that follow an appointment including the pharmacy verifying a prescription. I reward this office NO STARS!!! (had to fill in one to submit)

Horrid service. If you need refills every month, they will CHARGE you on top of the visit. Last visit, called for appointment on 11/26. for blood draw on 11/27. - nothing available, can you come in 11/29 (day after Thanksgiving). Show up at only available time of 3pm to empty waiting room. Then told (after I fasted all day) that the lab was closed and that I missed my appointment on 11/22. How? The appointment was MADE on 11/26 and wanted 11/27?! Refused to draw blood (surely a doctor knows how?!). Refused to give medical records. Refused service - I was hungry and now in a very bad mood. Nasty Nurse would not come up with a solution other than to say I missed my appointment?! SHAME on THEM!

Today while on vacation my 2 year old daughter became very ill. I chose this place over many others in the area since it is a family practice. While checking in there was a sign on the desk asking people to inform the staff if they have a high fever, vomitting, etc. my daughter had those symptoms. I told the staff and there was no reaction. I proceeded to wait over a half an hour while my daughter continued to vomit in the waiting room. Never once did the staff ask to help. It was only after another patient asked the staff if they were going to help my daughter. They then called me up to the desk to inform me that the staff went on lunch. They asked if I could come back an hour and 15 min. later. I was shocked. They wanted my 2 year old to wait a total of 2 hours to be seen when she was clearly really sick. There were doctors still in the office and the staff repeatedly stated that no one could help my daughter. 600 miles from home, a very sick daughter, and not an ounce of care but just wasted time from this practice. I will never go back and will continue to share my experience with others so they don't make the same mistake I did.

My whole family goes here and Fritz Frye is awesome. The nurses ans staff are very nice. However, there is a black lady that works at the front counter who ruins the whole experience. She is very rude and nasty and doesn't even try to help. I called this morning to get an appointment for my husband and got this nasty wonan first. She said she couldn't take him. I waited ten minutes and called back and got one of the other nice ladies and she told me to send him right in. He was in the exam room ten minutes later. I would give five stars if not for this one nasty, lazy woman. I highly recommend this establishment.

Drl Vandergriff has been my doctor for the last 2 years, and I am very happy with him, his staff, and the medical care I have received. Dr. V is very thorough and doesn't rush through his appointments. The office nurses and front desk staff are also very pleasant and efficient. I would highly recommend this medical practice. There is also a lab on site for drawing blood and other tests.

I have been going to them for years, in fact my whole family goes there. Dr. Frye will sit and take as long as it takes to get it right not like most of the 5 minute doctors. he has a great personality and i'll certainly never go anywhere else. Nurse Kim is great no other word to describe her except an absolute sweetie. nurse gretta shes so crazy she have laughing your head off. I've only dealt with Dr.Vandergriff a couple times but one word for him thorough.Like I said I'll never go anywhere else. Shelly K

Dr. Vandergriff is very thorough and personable.The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Called 3:45pm Friday to make an appointment. I was having heavy chest discomfort after exertion and wanted the next available appointment (they are open Saturday). Long answering machine message eventually said to dial 200 for appointments. Dialed 200 -- same message. Pressed zero for operator and per instructions left my name, cell phone number and medical issue. Friday ended. No callback. Saturday came and went. No callback. Don't call me now -- I'm DEAD!

I called for some information and to possibly make an appointment. The person I spoke with was very helpful and very nice, so I made the appointment. Also, I mentioned the two reviews that were posted in January of 2010 were not very good. The receptionist told me that had made changes in the office staff. If the medical personnel are as friendly, I may change doctors.

Was in the office last week, and left message for Dr. Frye's nurse a few days later. My call was never returned. Called back in this morning and the girl at reception has bad attitude. The best she can do is transfer me to voice mail and HOPE that my call is returned. Said she has no control over whether or not they return their calls. Her attitude is "I just work here" . This is sad because I really did like Dr. Frye, but will not go back if they can't return a call.

Dr, Jones is awesome. However the staff from the reception area all the way to the nurses are rude, sassy and just down right ridiculas. There is one nurse there names Jenna (I think) that is also wonderful. It is ashame that the qualifications to work in doctors offices are to be rude. Dr. Jones and Jenna should start their own business.
