I will say that tonight was our third visit and the first two went well. Tonight was the first time for us to make a reservation and sit at the hibachi table. I knew that it would be around $100 for the three of us, but it was a special night out and we figured dinner and the "show" would be worth it. Not even close! 1) There was no show, we sat on one side of a "u" shaped table and he only cooked on one side, so our show was of his back, period. 2) The steak was cooked well, the lobster was so tough and rubbery that we could not eat it, we couldn't even cut it into smaller bites! The shrimp was ok and the vegetable ranged from half cooked to overcooked and mushy. We also had our nephew who is allergic to mushrooms, but we were not asked our preferences or needs as the folks he was facing were. 3) The service was slow and indifferent, but the check surely came quick, lol. However, we couldn't get them to take the minute to pick up the check with our card to pay. 4) I finally went to the register, she took my card, swiped and then stated that everything was great, right? When I said no and told her why, she said it was our fault, everything. We should have told him no mushrooms, how do you talk to someone's back? She never apologized, she got hostile and told me if I would just do this and that when next we came, it would be better! $87.00 for inedible food and no show and rudeness, not going to be a next time.
