Founded in 1994, Copan Diagnostics Inc. is a supplier of collection and transport systems. Located in Murrieta, Calif., it supplies bacteriology swabs, viral transport media VTM and molecular systems to North and South America. Copan Diagnostics Inc. offers products, including transystem, loops and spreaders, dry swabs as well as pipets, among others. Copan Diagnostics Inc. further offers pre-analytics solutions, which include patented Flocked Swabs, ESwab and UTM Viral Transport. It also provides a line of traditional laboratory consumables, such as spreaders, inoculation loops and needles, transfer pipettes and a line of Swab Rinse Kit (SRK) environmental swab systems and products for forensic applications.
