The hair stylists all have a superior knowledge of today's top trends in hairstyles. Every single hairdresser there is very welcoming and full of life. They sat me down and offered me a beverage to start off the service and had no hesitation to help my experience be an enjoyable one. I always love getting my hair cut here since they all know how I like my hair to be and whenever I decide I want something new, they always go above and beyond with what I want. The timing in the process of getting my hair cut may take a few minutes tops compared to other places, but that is more than worth it. After all you should never rush an artist. Masterpieces may take a few minutes more than someone who is an amateur and all of these lovely women are the masters. If you want to see a new outlook on life, see a new and more amazing person in the mirror, or boost your self image, then Glow Salon and Mercantile is the exact place for you!

Meg is a FANTASTIC hair dresser!! I came into Meg with hair down to mid-back. I've had long hair for me entire life and then finally decided to chop it all off. Meg was very helpful when figuring out the best style, made me a good deal on the highlights, and made my hair look better than ever. Her hair washes are relaxing and soothing, especially with a nice temple massage. This salon also has beer, soda, wine and coffee for FREE while you are getting your hair cut. I have since moved away from the Myrtle beach area and would drive the 3.5 hours to see her again. I still haven't quite found anyone in Charlotte that I like as much as Meg! I love this shop!! It's very quaint and clean. My hairdresser was Jennie Lynn. She is very nice and relatable, PLUS she does an excellent job at cutting hair! I told her what i wanted, and she did just that and made it look better! You can tell when the hairdresser is cutting your hair, if they know what they're doing or not. The minute Jennie Lynn started doing my hair, I could tell she knew how to cut hair! My hair looks amazing and I will definitely be going back!!!

First of all the feeling in the salon, then of course the professionals and the wonderful way they take care of my hair. In the past 10 years I have never been unhappy with Meg's work. It is a pleasure to go to this salon and I always look forward to my appointments. Thank you Meg and all the girls. You are all the best!!
