Car Doc (Scott) is very professional, knowledgable and reasonable. He also worked very quickly on our car because he knew we were visiting from out of town. I highly recommend car doc!

Scott Brown with The Car Doc is a the type of mechanic you want regardless if you are a local or a tourist in a jam! We have used The Car Doc three times(various vechile and have been extremely pleased. Scott is pleasant, honest, helpful, and works in a timely manner. This morning I found myself of the side of the road while taking my child to school, my husband was out of town so I was at a loss of what to do....Never fear! Scott showed up in less than 20 minutes and had me on my way lightening fast!

Making the trip from upstate SC to Garden City for our annual family vacation, we had two car problems: a flat tire, and a leaky radiator. After limping the Honda CRV to our condo, I searched the web for reputable car repair places near Surfside/Garden City/Murrels Inlet. Seeing the glowing review that Jonathan from Ontario had left for the Car Doc, I decided to give them a try. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. Scott was pleasant to work with, and they completed the radiator replacement within a day. The bill was very reasonable, especially considering that they had me "over a barrel" so to speak, stranded at the beach... If you are at the beach and need some car repair work done, I would not hesitate to recommend the Car Doc. Good work, reasonable price, pleasant people -- a win-win experience!

I had a car that had been sitting for a very long time and needed it fixed up. I called Car Doc because I liked the fact that he comes to my home, which saves me not only time, but money too, I would have had to pay for a tow truck. He came and in 3 days fixed the car. He was friendly, knowledgable, and a fast,hard worker. I was expecting to pay ALOT! and probably would have if I had taken the car to an auto shop, but I paid very little compared to expected. I would definately recommend and hire him again and again. He should be wearing the yellow cape!!!

I called Scott at Car Doc Saturday morning around 9 30 am. He told me to drive to his shop in Garden City. All I can say is WOW. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a couple of options on the repair. Taking his advice, he went to work. Knowing that I was a tourist,from Canada I might add,and was waiting at his shop, He worked non stop for five hours, through lunch to finish the repair. Now comes the good part...How much? I asked. We had not discussed money up to that point. I was not surprised that his price was more than fair,especially for a Saturday. it was so fair that I felt led to tip him.
