On 13 April 2016 I when into this neighbor urgent care clinic which turned out to be a department of the First Texas Hospital. I met with a Doctor Reddy Vijayabhaske and was diagnosed with Strep Throat. The service provided was good. I was given two shots and left in a 45 minute to 1 hour visit. I have been to similar urgent care facilities before using my United Health Care Insurance. Bills have been reasonable in the $200.00 range.



TO MY SURPRISE I was bill a total of $3,576.00 and this was only for the facility charge and the diagnostic’s!!!! United Health Care paid $1,072.80 leaving me a balance of $2,503.20. I called the First Texas Hospital Billing Department and they stated there was nothing they could do to reduce the bill. I have been told that I will still be receiving a Physicians Charge of $1,353.00!!!!!



So the total bill for treatment of Strep Throat was $4,929.00!!!! I will never make the mistake of going to a place like this again since I view it as HWY robbery.

This place should be a desperate choice for EMERGENCIES ONLY. My wife and I went in separately within a week . My wife to get a fly removed from her ear and I went in with a stomach issue. After our insurance we owed 1,600 between the two of us and my stomach issue was misdiagnosed.



I was shocked to see all of the positive reviews of this place online. Its either the work of a marketing company or people that haven't received their bills yet.

These guys are awesome. Professional, efficient and friendly. More costly than a CareNow, but the service and extent of services provided is so much better. Will use them whenever I need emergency services in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for a lingering cough/cold thinking a quick prescription and in/out visit but was NEVER told I would be charged for an ER visit. Got the bill and it was for $1121 AFTER my insurance adjustment. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would have been great to have been told when I showed up that they consider themselves an ER just like any hospital ER. Forget the fact that they are in a shopping strip in between a Chipotle and Einsteins Bagels. Sorry, but if I have a real emergency, I am going to a real hospital. Called their billing group and they were completely dismissive and asked if I read the forms I signed and that I should have know by the name Emergency Room. Really??? So you are saying that amublances take crash vicitims or other critically injured victims here as opposed to the real hospital a few miles further. STAY AWAY! This is what is wrong with our health care system! I wish I made there kind of money.

Poor Service, Sadly way over priced too. Was billed over $1,100 for a "sinus infection". Was not notified that they did not have non ER service. Were not willing to waive the $800+ "Facility Charge" which was hidden in the last page of the T&Cs with no mention of the price.

Rip Off Place!!!! Should be NEVER A CHOICE EMERGENCY ROOM. They billed my wife $3000 for a visit, in which they used all the equipment they had on the facility in the name of heart attach symptons(Heart attach has become big business, scare them bill them) but not give the correct path to get the MRI done, because they don t have it. Go anywhere else except this place. Total RIP OFF Place and Bad doctors.
