Blackman Elementary School assists students in academic and social learning goals in a safe and positive environment, and is located in Murfreesboro, Tenn. It offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. The school s multimedia center includes a large screen TV, computer, computer network connection and a printer for growth and development of students. It provides an opportunity to parents to be active in the school s various activities through a parent organization. Its curriculum includes reading, art, English as a second language, science, letter people, music, physical and special education. It also provides guidance services to students. The school has various clubs, such as art, beta, chorus, mathematics, science, technology, yearbook and athletic clubs and student council.
