The Muncie Family YMCA is a charitable organization that is dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind and body for individuals and families. It serves more than 5,000 families in Delaware, Blackford and Kosciusko counties in Indiana. The organization conducts American Red Cross certification, aerobic and martial arts classes. The Muncie Family YMCA also provides massage therapy, nutritional guidance and child care services. It offers lessons in scuba diving, swimming and aquatics. The organization administers beginner, intermediate and advanced level tennis programs for adults. The Muncie Family YMCA additionally coordinates the Black Achievers program, which is designed to enhance the academic, personal, career and leadership development of minority adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18.
