Very competitive and well stocked

We too went there and found what we were looking for and again we took them to sow n sews for holsters and slings to be made to fit with the scopes and lasers.

I agree between these two shops we can get pretty much anything done.

Has a nice selection of firearms and accessories, but is overpriced. Poor customer service skills by the person behind the counter, was to busy to answer basic questions about firearm(s) in question, tv show he was watching was more important. Once he was bothered he was very rude and not pleasant. If you enjoy being treated rudely by all means visit this establishment.

It really is more then a pawn shop!

I like this place it send a lot of business our way; at the Army Navy Surplus or Sow N Sews Custom Sewing I see a lot of their clients as ours too. They get their handguns, assault-rifles, shotguns, and ammo there and then often come to us to get holsters, slings, tactical vest and such or just get all the things they think goes well with what they are gearing up for.

I am told by the folks that come in they got a good deal; they seem happy with their service and value and I guess they do a bit of haggling there and many of our clients seem to like that. They come in and are excited about their new purchase and so I think this place is doing well in these otherwise hard times.

I know I am seeing some business because that seems to be what is selling right now...Guns and Ammo and we take care of the softer side of the customer needs.

One of the better gun/rifle shops for wheeling and dealing in the area. He is mostly a pawn shop that makes it a bit easier on pricing for items that could not be redeemed. That and they do a pretty good business in ordering in parts and ammo. I have been able to find some pretty good deals here and I found a tricked out 9MM that came with a light and laser sight and 7 clips for a great price. They didn't have any holsters to fit it but they sent me to the Army Navy Surplus and I already knew that Sow N Sews could make anything I needed; so I bought the whole getup and took it over there and had him make me a "convertable" Belt/thigh/soulder holster, with stacked mag pouches that could be worn on a belt or mounted to the thigh plate. So for a couple hours of time I saved a buch on the pistol, ammo, and clips and have a carry for all seasons plus the range.

Found what I wanted here!

I was looking for a good used AK47 style rifle and Adam had one and gave me a sweet deal on it. He had a lot of slings but not one the way I wanted it so he suggested I take it over to the Army Navy Surplus a few blocks away and have a custom one made the way I wanted.

I had already been to Sow N Sews Custom Sewing and knew they could do the work but always wanted the hardware there when doing the sewing project. So I trucked on over and of course he asked if I had the rifle and clips etc. I wanted to carry together. So I retrieved them from the truck and took them in and we proceeded to make a sling just my way.

I decided to have a three point sling made to fit the AK and he had some Mag Bags to fit the banana clips I purchased from Prairie Creek. So between Prairie Creek and Sow N Sews I was able to get everything done real fast.

Got a sweet deal on the AK, Got a sweet deal on making the sling, and I am one happy camper...real sweet day to do some shooting at the range next.

I would absolutely recommend Prairie Creek Gun shop for a good to great selection and competitive pricing on what you may be looking for. And if it is lacking that certain something soft-goods wise consider the Army Navy Surplus for the Sling or other range toting bags.

Adam is good people; He will treat you fair.

Now I buy many of my handguns and ammo from this place and take them over to the Sewing Shop inside the Army Navy Surplus to have a custom holster or sling made. Maybe do a range bag or or get some Camouflage outerwear.I like this place as a nearby source of supplies and I can usually get a decent deal on trade in and exchange; and they treat me right as a long time customer.
