Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, a nonprofit organization, offers assisted rental housing for low- and moderate-income groups. It develops and manages housing communities for families, senior citizens, single adults and persons with disabilities. The organization s developments are subsidized by the federal, state and local governments. It also provides technical assistance and development services to public and private sponsors of housing for the poor and disabled. Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition has won citations from the National Low Income Tax Credit Coalition and the Building Industry Association. It was founded in 1970, and its office is located in Foster City, Calif.
