The first time entering the building, I was nervous beyond belief. However, as soon as I saw the secretary with a big smile on her face and a happy go lucky attitude, I knew everything would be just fine. The waiting room is furnished with several chairs, a chair, magazines, and even activities for children. But I must stress, it is not at all stuffy or overwhelming. I expected to be called in to a stuffy room to be questioned by Dr. Winslow, but he had even taken the time thoroughly review my charts so the appointment took much less time than anticipated. He was willing to answer any questions I had and that is hard to find these days! As the only psychiatrist in town (other than Tele-Med at HRA), I could not recommend another doctor or other staff that surpasses the bar like Dr.Winslow. They currently accept Medicare and private insurance, but with the health care crisis, who knows how long those guidelines will be in legit. But if you live in the Mountain Home area, give Dr. Winslow's office a call. Counseling services are available as well. Good Luck!
