We've banked personally with Johnson County for several years and have been very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy and thoroughness of the bank's staff.Beyond this, my comercial experience in Mountain City and Johnson County, has allowed me the ability to compare Johnson County to the 'big' (national) banks and package lenders who deal in the area.Johnson County is considerably more conservative than they. While that means a loan or mortgage probably won't be obtained as easily for those with less than sterling credit or written with terms as low as others, it also means the bank is extremely solid, able to withstand economic hard times better than many and protects its depositors money well. An individual trying to 'stretch' or to 'leverage' their position beyond what can be prudently justified will probably want to work with another group. Solid, financially well-grounded (not rich, simply prudent) people will find few other banks as well suited to them.
