It is a family-owned business that operates through two locations that feature heated greenhouse spaces and outdoor growing grounds, including shade areas and retractable-roof greenhouses. The company has root zone heating, humidity control and boom irrigation capabilities. It specializes in integrated pest management, water- and energy-use reduction and recycling projects. Skagit Gardens growers utilize automatic seeding machines, robotic transplanters, and watering and high intensity discharge supplemental lighting equipment.
