This place should be shut down! Went in to purchase a brand new vacuum and had done plenty of research and knew exactly what I wanted. Price they had was about $40 cheaper than anything I found online in new condition. Brought the vacuum out without box or manual and I asked why. Was told that they had to assemble them to get the extra in-store warranty. Take it home and begin to realize right away that it was used. There was broken trim, some scuffs and debris in the hose and canister. Take it right back and was told that they try them out after assembly, which they have to do to give the in-store warranty. I then realized that the manufacturer had a 5 year warranty so why did it matter? Was then told it was reconditioned. Shot that down right away because "Factory Reconditioned" was nowhere to be seen on the model information label. Was told so many lies in a short amount of time my head was spinning. I contacted the manufacturer and reported this business since they are a representative of that make. Don't think the sales guy at The Vac Shop could have told the truth to save his life.

We have had wonderful service as they have repaired our vacuum over the years. Our parts and labor were under Dyson warranty, but The Vac shop did not try to up-sell and answered our questions with knowledge. The next time our Dyson needs a part or needs a repair, not only will we suggest this company to the Dyson rep, we will request it. BTW, they carry a great pet stain remover. ( Our 3 dogs forget their manners sometimes)
