New Hope Industries is a nonprofit day habilitation facility that serves residents in Knox County in Ohio. The facility has been serving customers since 1976. It offers in-house and on-the-job vocational testing and training services. New Hope Industries provides special programming services for adults with mental retardation, developmental disabilities and multiple handicaps. It also offers day programming services for people with geriatric needs. The facility provides placement assistance, resume preparation and interviewing skill development counseling services. It offers training in the areas of packaging, light assembly, shredding, collating, mailing, salvage and janitorial services. New Hope Industries conducts various puppetry, gaming and music activities, as well as organizes bowling, fishing, swimming and shopping outings.
