Mount Tabor School has been serving the educational needs of children since 1932. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes vocal and instrumental music, physical education, arts and crafts, reading and Spanish. Mount Tabor School also conducts sessions in English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school features a parent-teacher association that participates in various activities and events. In addition, the school employs a reading specialist, guidance counselor, media expert, social worker, psychologist, teachers and assistants. It also provides membership opportunities for the National Honor Society and student council. Mount Tabor School is a part of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District, which maintains several elementary, middle and high school campuses.
