Saginaw Chippewa Academy is an elementary school that offers a range of recreational and academic opportunities for students to meet the educational needs of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and its' surrounding community. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, reading and writing. It also offers classes in science, social studies and art. Saginaw Chippewa Academy organizes parent-teacher conferences. It operates a library that features various types of books and reading and reference materials. The school s higher education department encourages and recruits students to pursue higher education.
