Founded in 1966, Burlongton County College is a public community college accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the state of New Jersey. The college has a wide range of departments, including accounting, biology, chemistry, communications, computer science and English. Additionally, its departments include history, political science, psychology, sociology and philosophy. The college also has language departments, including French, German, Spanish and Chinese. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, softball and golf. The library provides resources, including books, journals, magazines, newspapers, audiotapes, DVDs and videotapes. Burlongton County College is located in Pemberton, N.J.
