We just rescued Beau from a really sad situation who had spent his life in a basement/kennel and never even been outside, played with a toy, shown love, been in a car, heard traffic, etc., AND was infested with fleas, had dry skin, was anxious, and scared to death to be picked up or touched. Before deciding if we wanted to take on this challenge to rescue Beau, I called VV with so many questions and concerns, but Ruth Ann and Dr. Benner were patient to answer all of them and supported us in our decision. They were able to get Beau in quickly and when we arrived, took such good care of Beau, being gentle and loving. This was Beau's first vet visit in his 2 years of life and this scared little pup was shown such compassion and patience, it was amazing to watch him relax in their arms and touch. They were so gentle and soothing. Dr. Benner and staff comforted him and treated love and care that was beyond our expectations. They were able to perform all the tests, give shots (Beau did not even flinch), clip nails, and give advise on what would clear up his skin, coat and get him eating and drinking. With all the valuable information Dr. Benner gave us, we went home and followed all his instructions, and were able to get Beau to drink, eat and even take the flea chew right away, we could not believe it! Then after bathing him with the comfort shampoo, his dry flaking skin and dull coat transformed before our eyes, no more scaly skin and his coat took on a shine, he looks like a different pup. Beau is transforming before our eyes. I am so happy we chose Village Vet (again, this is our 2nd rescue they have treated). We have been to several vets over the years having rescued or fostered 5 dogs and Village Vet is the best; they truly care about the pet owners and pets and feel more like family than a business. Their building is so beautiful, clean, does not smell like an animal facility, and looks fancy without the expensive/fancy pricing. They are so much more reasonable than other vets. I won't go anywhere else.

Dr Benner is compassionate loving vet. He takes extra time with me and my dogs. He treats me like I'm his only client and my three dogs his only patients! He is wonderful.
