Place should be reported to the BBB. Opens and closes as they please. Rude desk staff. Unprofessional. Units with burnt out bulbs. WEAK machines. Place clearly seems like a hobby for someone who doesn't really need to work or gain your business. I think of 'Final Destination" when I'm in there because that's how lackadaisical this place is run. NOT affiliated with the chain, so idk how they get away with using the name still.

They are terrible to deal with. A complete to off !!! someday it will come back around...its a shame what scam artists their are lurking around decent human beings.....!

It's a great place with great features. They always have deals. I find them to be curttious and professional when I'm there.



They are translucent and they care for the customers needs and interests as all businesses should.



I read other reviews on here and find it hard to believe they don't know how to make a phone call or find a number.

I really enjoy there high pressure booth it gives me a radiant natural tan every time ....never been let down yet.

So don't believe the negative reviews on here and go get a healthy dreamy tan.

This salon is very well organized & sparkles! It's like a big family & each client is always treated with kindness & meets the needs of the particular client. Hours are seasonal & always CLEARLY VISIBLE

Although the name is Hollywood Tans, they are not affiliated with the chain. This means that the $3 fee to tan in other locations is n/a when having a membership with them. I've also went there during posted hours and the salon was closed. I've also been unsuccessful in finding a phone # to always call ahead and not have this issue and when asking, I was advised there's no phone except fo credit card machine to reach someone with questions. This is a nice and very clean salon, so it is a shame that myself and others are experiencing this...especially with having a paid in advance membership.

On May 5th,Salon was opened 4-8pm only.tues-thur 10-8pm Fri 9-8pm Sat10-5pn.hrs are posted on the window.

I came to the store today and they are closed. I don't know why but I called up to another store and asked if I could come tan at a different location (thinking they are all the same) and the woman in the phone said no. She also told me that the mt. Holly store is no longer affiliated with hollywood tans, not sure why? I asked her if she knew why the store was closed and she said she "heard" that the owner is selling the lot. Does anyone know anything else?

I pretty much had the same problems as Jon. Seemed like once a week they closed early. Everything started out decently at this salon, but started getting ignored when I would come in. Owner would just let her friends go ahead of me without even seeing if I wanted to use those beds before when I would clearly be standing and waiting before them. Do not even think to make a comment or question something because she likes to bad mouth people too. Gave her way to much money for the way she treated me.

Their hours say 9am to 9pm but that is 100% false. There were numerous times that they were closed for no reason in February and March, during the day, and 5:30-6pm at night Monday-Wednesday. The owner is making me pay for a service that I could not use because they never were open. Don't go here! If I could rate them negative stars I would.

I love this place!! The people that work there are amazing! I have never had to wait, they are quick, and more important to me honest. If I ask them If I should go x amount of minutes they will tell me if they think I am not ready yet, I appreciate this fully-some places just don't care. They take care of their clients and have GREAT specials. Not to mention their beds are the best around! I will never tan anywhere else again! -steph (JBMDL)

They took out so much money from my account· One month they took out 3 payments. I was supposed to have 5 refunds which I practically had to call over and over and beg for. I still have never received my last refund after 2 months of calling and bring told its been processed and the manager would call me. months later and I still am waiting for my $50.00 back! don't go here.

I should have known better, but I figured I give them a try and I was not happy at all. I don't feel that for the price you are paying that their equipment takes entirely too long to see any results with a tan. I'm going back to my other salon in the area. They beat them by a long shot. I wouldn't recommend any tanning franchise, they are all the same just trying to get your money and commitment and in the door. Bad business.

It's just like all the other Hollywood Tans. High pressure sales pitch and didn't like the staff and they were not very friendly. I will not return and go somewhere else.
