- Computed TomographyMako Robotic-Arm Assisted Total Knee Replacement is a treatment option for adults living with mid to late-stage osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. Mako provides you with a personalized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy. First, a CT scan of the diseased knee joint is taken. This CT scan is uploaded into the Mako System software, where a 3D model of your knee is created. This 3D model is used to pre-plan and assist your surgeon in performing your total knee replacement.

- Joint ReplacementOutpatient joint replacement is a surgery that does not require an overnight hospital stay. Traditionally, joint replacement has been an inpatient surgical procedure. - Orthopedic SurgeryOrthobiologics may be obtained from your own body or from a donor. They may be administered in the form of injections or may require a surgical procedure. They may be used alone as conservative treatment or following orthopedic surgery to enhance results.
- ArthroscopyWhether it's non-operative management, arthroscopy, tissue-sparing joint replacement or more complex revision surgery, Dr. Khakharia's goal is to combine cutting-edge technology & techniques to provide patients the best Orthopedic care possible. He aims to meet patients' individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle.
- Hip ReplacementHip replacement surgery is one of the most common orthopedic surgeries performed. It involves the replacement of the damaged hip bone (ball shaped upper end of the femur) with a ceramic ball attached to a metal stem that is fixed into the femur and placing a new cup with a special liner in the pelvis. Traditionally, the surgery was performed with a large, open incision and required the patient to stay in the hospital for several days. With advanced techniques, it is now possible to perform these surgeries on an outpatient basis where the patient is up and walking a few hours after surgery and goes home on the same day. Outpatient hip surgeries use the same implants as traditional surgery but involve a smaller incision and newer exposure techniques when compared to the traditional procedures. This type of surgery is less invasive to the tissues and bones and involves a much shorter hospitalization time where the patient can go home the same day.
- Knee Replacement€œHe successfully performed a total knee replacement on me. I haven’t had a bit of trouble nor have I needed my cane. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr.Khakhariaâ€
