Located in Morrisville, N.C., Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School is comprised of two separate educational entities. The academy serves children from ages 3 to 5, and it is a tuition-based program. The charter school serves children from ages 6 to 14 in kindergarten through eighth grade. It offers a range of educational and fundamental learning skills and programs. The school provides various subjects, such as art, physical education, math, science, language arts and foreign language classes, including Spanish. It organizes special extracurricular programs that include before- and after-school care, computer application classes, gymnastics and aquatics. Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School also offers a variety of elective courses, such as art, band, drama, vocal music and journalism.
