Alfred Vail School serves students in kindergarten through grade two. Its staff includes teachers, teaching assistants, specialists, counselors, and cafeteria and custodial employees. The school offers a range of student programs in art, music, physical education, world languages, and computer and media studies. In addition, Alfred Vail School conducts sessions in bilingual education and offers the English as a Second Language program. The school provides medical care, speech pathology, reading recovery and guidance counseling services. Its Home and School Association supports and sponsors several school events and activities.
