When you need Piano Tuning or Repairs call on Nickels Piano Service. For many years I have offered Piano Tuning, Piano Repairs, Piano Cleaning and much more. I strive to offer great service at a price that's easily affordable. Not just piano tuning; piano service! Pianos are complex instruments that require regular servicing in order to sound and play properly. Regular tuning is important, but there is more needed in order to keep a piano performing and sounding its best. The piano action, the components that are operated by the keys to produce the sound, need periodic adjustments. And the piano also needs periodic voicing to keep the tone sounding its best instead of becoming harsh and brassy. Standard Service My Standard Service includes tuning the piano, tightening the piano bench bolts and cleaning the piano key tops. This service normally takes about an hour. If the piano has not been serviced recently there may be other work needed. This work is outside of the scope of the Standard Service and will require additional cost. Of course, this service also includes record keeping and sending a tuning reminder card for future service. Extended Service I call my extended service Advantage Plus. If you choose to enroll in this plan, I will perform all the items in my Standard Service, plus I will do other maintenance items to improve the touch, tone, or make minor repairs of your piano. This service will take approximately 15 - 30 minutes beyond my Standard Service. To qualify for my Advantage Plus program you must agree to two things: 1.) Commit to two or more tunings per year; 2.) Pre-schedule the next appointment. This service keeps your instrument performing at its best and you can cancel at any time and revert back to my Standard Service.
