Morganton City Hall houses various departments, including administration, development and design, electric, finance, human resources, public safety, and parks and recreation. Its finance department provides a variety of services in the areas of accounting, payroll, purchasing, budget, utility billing, tax payment processing, debt management and financial report preparation. Morganton City Hall also houses the offices of the city manager, clerk and mayor.
