Off to A Great Season! Well it's finally here - camping season at DBFC. We have a lot going on thus far - (continuing renovations at the Roost, new lights at the horseshoe pits, campers that swapped sites and now putting their personal touches on their new sites, first annual DFBC golf tournament, etc.) Congratulations to the winners) and special thanks to Jones Matthews for his great organization skills, time and hard work to make this a great success. Hope this will be a continuing event for years to come. Thanks also to all to helped (all efforts appreciated). Management is still needing your help when it comes to the RULES - there are still those who think their "Special" and think the rules don't apply to them. Parents know where and what your children are doing. It's not that difficult - children on bicyles and CHILDREN driving carts are "accidents" just waiting to happen. We have such a great place, let's help management keep it safe. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE! Thanks DBFC.

DBFC is the best. Been there 7+ years and love every minute we get to spend there, which is almost every weekend. But I get so tired of reading all the negative remarks made about this campground, especially when its comes from permanent campers. People if you are so unhappy or dissatified go somewhere else for goodness sake. There is a waiting list of families that would love to have the opportunity to enjoy the facilities. Evidently, you are the type that can't be satisfied no matter where you are. The staff is great, and the rules are EASY, in fact I wish management would crack down and enforce the rules regarding driving the golf carts and the bicyle helmets and the cleaning up after the pets. Most everyone abides by these but then there are a few (most likely ones like you ) who don't and therefore, makes it dangerous (regarding the carts/bicyles for the children) and unsanitary (regarding the pet poo) for all of us. So either shut the hell up or do us all a favor LEAVE!!

This is one of the best campgrounds in North Carolina, it is a campground for family's with small children or older one's. Young and old no matter who you are you will enjoy yourself at this campground. Horseshoe contest, bingo on Saturday nightes, fishing at the pond or in the creek either one you chose, you will have a great time. Oh and by the way they do have a poor man supper every month where everyone in the campground cooks a dish and everyone meets at the banquet hall and enjoy good ole eating with all the family's. Come and check them out, you will be saying the same thing that i just said.
