      Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Carolina is a nonprofit organization that offers programs and activities for disadvantaged youth to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. As part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Coastal Carolina organization has access to a national staff of experts, training opportunities and programs. The club offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. It offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages six through 18. The club, based in Morehead City, N.C., provides prevention programs for youth, which include gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention.
