On Monday scheduled a call with Michelle in the office for service the next day at our shop. The technician arrived on time and was able to make the repair quickly for our commercial door. Everyone from the tech to the office was polite and thorough in their jobs. We will be calling them in the future for any future work.

In response to the response, you just lost my business. She is the customer and if you wanted to stake your position you should have done just that instead of throwing a jab at her "tiny office" comment over the writer stating Anna was in a tiny office. Who cares? I wouldn't care if you worked out of your garage, basement, big office, little office or a hot air balloon. I only want to be treated kindly, quality work, paying a price that is reasonable for the job expected. You only mocked her like that because you were annoyed she wrote the review, and further ticked off she had a buddy call because she felt she was treated poorly. Going forward, if you do decide to respond to a complaint be professional or better yet call the person personally if you know their number. When you get feedback like this take it as a coaching lesson. You can't coach a customer but you can coach your employee. I'm sure your employee is a lovely person, but like you typing "tiny office" - anyone can have a moment in time where they let their emotions get the best of them. I really think your response was in poor taste, had you simply aplogized that your company did not meet her expectations and stated factual information as to why Anna said what she said you would have been much better off. I'm giving you 5 stars because I think the original writer wasn't fair in giving you one star. Reading her response, you can tell she was annoyed about standing at a desk, and was probably annoyed that her son broke a window. The customer clearly wrote this on emotion. I wouldn't have taken much thought about it but then I read your response and quickly determined you are a petty person.

My son accidentally broke a small window out of our porch door. The quote from Atlantic Glass to have someone fix it for me was $111.00 (it could be more according to Anna if it took longer than expected). No problem. I decided to fix it myself. I trot on over to their shop the next day and am greeted by Anna seated in a tiny office. As I stand in front of her desk like a contrite school child, I tell her I need 1/8th inch glass cut to 23x11. She barks, "what's it for?"...so I tell her. I am informed in a brusque tone that a door "has to have" tempered glass, the cost would be $21 and she has order it. It will take 2 to 3 WEEKS to receive. Really? A glass company that doesn't have glass? Soooo, I have my MALE friend call Atlantic Glass. And sure enough, Anna answers the phone. "Yes, sir! 8th inch 11x23 we can have that for you in the morning. That'll be $9." Atlantic Glass might want to take a look at the attitude and professionalism they're presenting to their customers and adjust accordingly. I'll never go back nor recommend.

I haver used Atlantic Glass serveral times and they are always nice and easy to deal with. THey showed up on time and got the work done for me quickly. I will use them again for any glass I need!
