Mesa Verde Middle School operates under the Moorpark Unified School District. Located in Moorpark, Calif., the school offers classes from grades six through eight. It provides instruction in a wide range of academic areas, including English, fine arts, math, music, band, physical education, science, social studies, special education, technology and world languages. Mesa Verde Middle School has a career center to provide counseling and guidance services to students by trained counselors. The school arranges for a variety of student clubs, such as French, journalism, mock trial, pageantry, renaissance, band, radio, Red Cross, vocal and dance clubs. Its range of sporting activities includes baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, soccer, golf, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo and wrestling. The school offers several other services and facilities for students. Its parent-teacher association organizes various student activities.
