General Info

After high school, I worked in the registration department of my community's emergency room. Witnessing the fast-paced, critical nature of emergency care made me appreciate the dedication and compassion of healthcare providers and inspired me to go to school to become a nurse practitioner. During my professional training, I became fascinated by the role the heart plays in our overall health and found that cardiology offered me an opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives. \n I am passionate about delivering exceptional care and continuously learning about the field of cardiology so my patients can benefit from the most advanced treatments available. I also aim to improve each patient's quality of life and help them achieve better health outcomes by working collaboratively with the other providers on their care team. \n I am originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and now live in Statesville, North Carolina, with my husband and our two sons. When I am not attending their football or baseball games, or band competitions, you can find me gardening, reading, singing or exercising.
