      i.eIt is my pleasure to say I have know Master Bob Mangan for more than 30 years. I was fortunate to have him as a senior Black Belt in a Dojang I had trained in, in New York. Bob was an awesome fighter and well respected on the New York Tournement circuit. When Bob taught class you could be very assured you would be training hard and going home with sore muscles. Master Mangan was the most instrumental person in coaching me through my Black Belt test. I also have the honor of him signing my Black Belt certificate which i proudly display in my home for all to see. As a teacher, Master Mangan has a talent forseeing your greatest martial arts abilities and taking you to places you never thought you would be. I am very honored to call him my mentor, teacher and most of all my friend. Moorseville has no idea what a great asset to Martial Arts they have in their community.       Great studio! My daughter attends and loves it. Great self defense teaching. Great downtown location. I highly recommend.

      Master Bob Mangan has been training in the Martial Arts since 1974 and has also been teaching in the Downtown Mooresville area since 1995. Mangan Martial Arts Academy has various programs for students from the ages of 4 to adults. All class's are age specific. The benefits of learning martial arts are limitless. Children learn self confidence, self discipline, respect, they do better in school and martial arts helps them develop their own unique potential. Adults interested in martial arts can learn self defense while getting into shape. They lose a few pounds, relieve their stress and practice self discipline.
