We hired these movers to help us pack our household. Rather than remove the bumper from my 6-month old son's crib to pack it, they cut the cloth ties, destroying my property. They moved my mattress onto their truck without a protective bag or box, immediately after telling me they'd use both, staining and permanently damaging it. My husband, toddler and I made a cross town move just last week. We selected Transtar over a larger moving company and are thrilled with our decision. We had a team of three men move us in less than 6 hours. The men were professional from the time that they called to advise of their arrival time to the time that they pulled out of our new driveway. We thought that they were efficient, careful and fun. I was very nervous about moving, and the Transtar team made it seem easy. We're glad that we paid professionals to move us; our furnishings arrived in good condition yet the price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend Transtar to family and friends. We hired Transtar for a move between Ewing, NJ and Rio Grande, NJ. Their team of three men were pleasant and professional. All of our belongings arrived in perfect condition and the move was completed in about 2 hours less than the original estimate. This saved us quite a bit. I have used Transtar for moving from NJ to Pittsburgh area and back, my experience was a great one and was extremely satisfied. All staff were professional and accessible at all time. Very professional, and accomodating customer service. Movers were very friendly and patient!. My belongings arrived to my place the same way I have packed them. The leg of one of my chairs was damaged and it was repaired with only one call with no charge, better than before!. I would recommend this company without hesitation. I have used them 3 times and their performance has exceeded my expectations.
