Bio MEEJ LLC is a Relationship Development Program that assists couples, individuals, families, groups, organizations and businesses in improving the relationships and interactions of their lives, both professionally and personally. This Relationship Development Program and Coaching Business focuses skills and habits stemming from self-reflexion, core consciousness, positivity and action based initiatives that lead to healthier and happier lifestyles. MEEJ’s primary relationship development coaching objective is to assist clients in reaching their goals and while motivating them to re-assess and re-direct their actions into creating, enhancing and/or developing healthy and positive habits which can assist them towards improving their quality of life. MEEJ’s relationship development programs and coaching are collaboratively decided between MEEJ and the client; where, deciphering a vision and action plan occur through a combined partnership. The plan is customized for each client and the approach varies according to the needs, commitment, level of engagement/participation, and preferred method of learning (audio, audio-visual, kinesthetic, passive, active, or interactive). Meej (the individual) is a professional Relationship Development Coach whose life work is focused on improving relationships. Her choice of profession stems from a steadfast belief that relationships are at the core of our everyday existence and that our wellbeing correlates directly with the quality of our relationships. Meej observes that common themes present a framework for potential improvement opportunities; however, she holds that the uniqueness of every individual, and therefore every relationship, may require different needs, and should be addressed accordingly. Often times, these demand experience in facilitating the means to rewarding and lasting improvements. Meej’s relationship improvement profession was built upon a foundation of skills including social program development (prevention, education, advocacy, and intervention), youth mentoring, teaching, and last but not least, the parenting of her children. Meej holds a Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, a Human Resources Certification from Rutgers and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies with a minor in psychology from Chaminade University of Hawaii. Most of us are programed to address issues in our relationships long after we encounter conflicts or differences within; sort of the idea of "crossing the bridge when we get there". Unfortunately, that follows a reactive and "post" (after-the-fact) approach that requires us to "put a bandaid" or "fix" the relationship after it has broken; when most likely many of these issues could have been avoided through dialogue, partnership, joint vision, and most importantly through self-reflection and awareness of our hidden biases. Oftentimes, we think the issues in our relationships are a result of incompatibility between us and our partners, when in reality, many times the issues stem mostly from our own preconceived and romanticized ideals about what our relationship should be like.
