Let's start by saying I wish I could give 0 stars. John's work is atrocious. only thing more atrocious was his attitude towards dealing with the problem. floors are a mess with sanding swirls, splotches and unevenness. asked him to come back and repair and he refuses to return a call. Clearly not interested in quality work Buyer beware -- stay away

Didn't believe reviews and got sucked in on price. Floors were redone and there are numerous sanding swirls and gauges. Stain match is poor and John refuses to come back -- indicated you paid me for job so it was done to your satisfaction. Poor customer service and horrific attitude- this company should be avoided

Terrible work performed and even more horrendous customer service. New floors were installed that did not match the existing floors due to lower grade wood used. In addition John had inexperienced workers installing the floors that over sanded, did not properly nail, cut wood in the house making a mess and not cleaning up and sloppy swirling stain on the floors. Very messy staining of which the color was not what was selected. John took over 5 weeks to complete the job and kept indicating it was hard to find workers and only wanted to be paid cash and up front . needed to have other contractors brought in to repair the floor and they indicated that John can not keep workers as he treats them poorly and with no respect. ended up spending an additional $2000 to have floors corrected by another contractor Do yourself a favor and stay away from this Company and avoid the headaches -- you will pay more in the long run

Terrible customer service. Floors are popping and nails sticking out. Floors have swirls and over sanding. John refused to come back to correct. Wont answer calls. Stay away.

Disgustingly horrible workmanship. I had hardwood flooring that I bought. He told me it would be enough for the job. When I wasnt he said he was sure he could match it. What he put down didnt come close! Towards the end they really got sloppy! You can see nails in the hardwood! This man should not be in business

Had them sand and refinish floors. Had to call them back to put more urethane on Floors. Floors show brush marks and sanding scars. The floor still needs another coat of urethane. Looking for someone else to finish the job or possibly may have to start over because of the poor sanding job.

I too wish I could give John 0 stars. They are unreliable , sloppy, poor communicators and most importantly the floors are damaged. We had our entire 2nd floor replaced. They actually cut the wood inside my home. I can't begin to explain what a mess that was. They threw trash out of my windows, dragged doors, dropped tools, and cut wood on newly installed floors. They left cigarette butts along my front walk, had no regard for my home or the work they were doing. A big factor in releasing them was that they would give me a day and time they would work, but didn't show up at that time or day and didn't extend the courtesy of a call to say they couldn't come. This lead to our project extending from one week to three. We finally stopped work. I couldn't take the stress of having them ruin my home or wasting another day waiting for them to show. We wasted a great deal of money. Please don't use them.

Let's start by saying I wish I could give 0 stars. John's work is atrocious. He and his men installed a floor on a concrete slab in my home. They literally just jammed planks of wood into place with nails at uneven surface levels. They then brought in an industrial sander that "evened" the floor by leveling it out at the same time exposing nail heads they had to cut through to even the floor. As mentioned by other users: uneven staining, pooled poly, materials stuck in the poly, poly on freshly painted walls. They also patched (why would you need to patch new wood?!?!) with a color that doesn't match our new stain. They didn't put material under a step head that caused it to crack right away from weight. I've had other contractors say the slab floor is going to buckle and explode up with seasonal changes within 5 years. Finally, workers are crude, obnoxious and slobs. My other contractors men refused to be in the home with John's men. This company is a sham led by a con man. He'll expect cash only upfront before work is done. I had to threaten to take him to court to fix my floor and he had the audacity to say he was hurting financial while his Range Rover was parked outside my house...I threw him out and am still considering taking him to court for financial reimbursement. He and his company are a joke! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this. Pay the extra to go with a real company!

Used John twice now and very happy with the work.

I was referred to John by another contractor. I had 5 other companies come out for an estimate. Johns prices were on target with the others but his personality and knowledge made him stand above the others. His work was amazing. I am extremely satisfied with his work. I will be calling him to refinish the rest if my floors.

OUTSTANDING WORKMENSHIP, WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WANTING TO HAVE HARD WOOD FLOORS INSTALLED OR REFINISHED. LOVE THIS COMPANY

John's has done a great job. Floors I thought could not be saved were. They were professional and my floors look like new. Not sure why people would complain about dust when you know they sand it makes dust... Thank John and will gigot recommend you you friends!

They did a great job sanding and staining my floors! John is a very nice person and the guys who did the work were very nice too.

Please...please use someone else. These are Asian guys who are racist towards: Hispanics and african-Americans. If you embrace diversity..find someone else. These aforementioned reviews are right on point. They came 3 hours late, and I'm trying to re- hire someone else to "fix" my floors. Notice there is not one person one this site who sId anything positive! The owner John Lee is a criminal! He has charges in Maple Shade, Moorestown, Palmyra and Cinnaminson! Please go elsewhere!

Stain is uneven, swirl marks, puddling of polyurethane, and splashed stain on freshly painted wall and baseboard.
