Lyter Elementary School is a part of the Montoursville Area School District. The school features a computer lab, gymnasium, cafeteria, playground and classrooms. It offers special classes in art, music and physical education. Lyter Elementary School has an enrollment of approximately 400 students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Lyter Elementary School provides Title 1, active volunteer, speech and gifted education programs. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, reading, writing, science, social studies and language arts. It has a library that houses a variety of newspapers, reference materials, encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and fiction and nonfiction books. Located in Montoursville, Pa., Lyter Elementary School organizes individual and group counseling sessions.
