The staff lady was really nice. The pool was a nice amenity and location is just a short walk from amusement park.

Right on lake which is awesome view is awesome couldn't ask for better ..staff was friendly .

We stayed at Summer Haven Resort for a week and couldn’t have had a better experience. Erik was very accommodating and friendly - he made our experience even more enjoyable. It was a great place to bring up our family and spend time together. Thank you again!

My family and friends have been going to Summer Haven for over 25 years. About 7 to 8 different familes. The staff has always been very gracious and has always met our needs. The greatest thing about Summer Haven is that it has always made us feel like it's a vacation from out of the past. It brings back the days of the 50's & 60's when things were simple. They have been a part of my family memories for many years and will continue as my grandchildren are now experiencing what their parents did. It says a lot when you talk over the many vacations to different places that we've gone and the one that is talked about always are the summers at Summer Haven. I thank Mr Biddle for that . This summer we brought 42 people total ,some new comers.They loved it and are planning next year to go as well.
If people are expecting a 5 star place to stay you not going to find it on the main strip of Indian Beach . This is an old town with old fashion values that have endured the test of time. The cabins are nostalgic and clean and reasonably priced.

We came to Summer Haven for the first time in 2006 and ended up staying for 3 weeks then went home for 2 weeks and stayed till the week before the kids started school. We are back up again for this summer for 2 months. We have enjoyed it so much. The owner, Ken Biddle, the office girl, Faye and the cleaning staff have become like a whole other family to us. We shopped around alot of the other resorts in this area and have found by far they are the cleanest and best up kept resort on Indiana Beach Road. It is very kid friendly and dog friendly. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. The owner will go out of his way to make your stay more enjoyable. I don't know how someone could say anything bad about this resort or the people that work here. They all deserve a huge pat on the back and I am very happy to call them my summer family.

Staff was very nice and helpful. I would and will stay again. Will admit a little upgrading is needed, but the new owner has taken over and plans to.

Summer Haven was a nice place to stay! I think the receptionist is awesome. She is loving, caring and her humor was great. The rooms were clean and the boss was very nice. I would recommend anyone to go there.

It's under new management now dee and her husband they are amazing people. Things were way better then when the other people had it. I love it here and will definitly go back.

Its perfect, right on the lake also walking distance to Indiana beach and the pool was awesome to! We will be back next year!

Love it here this weekend is stay number 3 this year the place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful always checking to see if we need anything. Love the heated pool and the fact that we can walk to Indiana beach. Can't wait to see the changes they are making. One happy guest here keep up thegood work

Just love coming here!! We've been coming for past 6-7 years at least 3+times a year & stay in the same cabin! We even spent almost 2 weeks there for our honeymoon & go every year for our anniversary! Miss the place in the winter time! C ya in the summer!

Me and my family enjoyed staying here,my 2 yearold daughter had a blast,makes you feel like home and the people here are respectful,very nice people ,they let us stay a few hours longer so we could bring some of our family home and that was very nice of them.Thank you guys for letting us stay,we will be coming again next week sometime :)

When down with family to Indiana Beach and we enjoyed ourselves and our stay .

Great place for young and old. Summer Haven is a great place to stay for young and old. Faye and Ken Biddle are always friendly and accommodating. We have gone for seven years, grandma, grandpa, son and family, daughter and family. We look forward to it every year. Other family members come for the day or go to the campgrounds. It's close to the amusement park but far enough away so you don't have all the noise. You can sit on the pier and watch the fireworks at the park nicely. The cabin is always clean and tidy. I love it there and would definitely recommend it.

We go down every year and try to stay at the same place. Definitely family orientated. The man who owns it is very kind. Faye one of the office girls, has gone out of her way to accommodate me threw the years. Faye is one of the reasons we return year after year. Its not the Ritz but you sure get your moneys worth. Beautiful heated pool. your own docks, swimming in the lake early morning or late night, fishing you can bring your own skis/boat.

Best time I've ever had. Staff is very friendly and it's very clean. We had a great time and i will be back next year!! Great pool lake access on both side and rooms are amazing. Very home like. Guests are great.

We went for the weekend last minute and they made our stay there one of the best ever it was a very memorable weekend can't wait to go back next weekend the staff was very friendly they made sure we had everything we need they went out of their way for us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable.
